Different Methods of Grinding

Grinding mill is an old invention which brought ultimate ease for grinding different kinds of materials even those which seem impossible to be halved. With introduction of grinding machines in mining industries, it became quite easier to grind ores to particles in order to extract minerals from them.

Though, there are couples of ways for extracting minerals and materials from mined ores. For instance, in order to extract gold from the ore, its granules are expanded through gravels which is infused on a mercury coated table. Then table is quivered and as a result gold granules stick to the mercury. It is one of the natural characteristics of the gold that it sticks with mercury and so this method became applicable in the industry. Later those gold granules are detached with the mercury.

Another way to separation of sulphide material from ores is called flotation. In this process, ores are grinded up and then mixed inside a water tank. Inside the tank, air is bubbled consistently to complete the sulphide extraction process. Sulphide particles stick with the air bubbles and gathered with the foam being generated by air bubbles on top of tank.

Despite all these processes, the best way is to use the grinding equipment. Companies involved in crushing and grinding businesses are now depending upon grinding mills to fulfill their industrial requirements with efficiency and in less time.

Shanghai Minggong is a leading manufacturer of grinding mills in Shanghai China.
