Installing Slate Stacked Stone

Installing various types of stones inside the house or outdoor in the garage or the passageway is a great way to ornament these spaces. Even though the natural stones are very expensive to export and install, but people are still interested in decorating their houses with these beautiful natural stones. One such beautiful stone is the Slate Stacked Stone. Known for its beautiful and distinguished textures, they are highly durable and are used for the beautification of the houses. Careful installation of these stones is an important part and must be dealt with carefully, otherwise the attractiveness of these stones can be destroyed.
Before installing the slate stacked stone, it is necessary that you prepare the space where you want to place these stones,  Rubbing the surface with a scratch coat makes it rough, making it easier to allow the stone and mortar to bond with the surface. Wire or fiberglass lathe are needed to be attached to these spaces. The lathe is directly nailed to any studs behind the wall. Nail it after about every four inches along the studs to guarantee that it sticks to the wall of your kitchen.Next, blend some mortar to the consistency of pancake batter. This part is untidy and tricky, but can be done. Use a trowel to disperse the mortar up on the lathe in order that the lathe is enclosed with about a ½ inch of mortar. Allow it to harden sufficient in order that you can use a sharp stick and leave a permanent scratch on the mortar.  This is done in one direction until the whole surface is scratched.
Allow the scratch coat to harden overnight and then cut the stones, setting them up on the ground like you would want to install it on the wall. Use a wet tile saw to cut pieces of stone and once you are done, attach them to the wall one row at a time. Each distinct part of these beautiful stones is buttered before it is applied directly to the wall. A large glob of mortar smeared up on the back of the slate stacked stone is all it takes to get it to stick. Starting with the base strip stack the parts of these stones into location as asserted by the layout you conceived on the floor. Stack one strip on the  designated wall , and then continue with the other strip on the ground. You need to ensure that  there are no joints in between the lines. Once  the entire work is done, allow these stones to dry for a couple of hours, use a rigid bristled brush, to wipe away any of the surplus mortar from wall. Clean with a moist sponge and allow it to dry overnight.
