Strengthen Your Piping System with Steel Pipe Flanges

Steel Pipe Flanges are used to provide strength, attaching more pipes in a pipe structure or blocking off a pipeline. It is usually in a disc, collar or ring shaped. They are commonly welded or attached through bolts at the pipe end. Two pipe flanges are attached with a gasket between them to provide tighter fittings. They either have standardized size or they can also be customized as per requirement. Also their design & shape are in accordance with the amount of pressure & temperature they have to go through.

There are many types of Steel Pipe Flanges like Slip-on Pipe Flanges, Weld Neck Pipe Flanges, Blind Pipe Flanges, Lap Joint Pipe Flanges, Threaded Pipe Flanges and Socket-Weld Pipe Flanges. Each type of Steel Pipe Flange has different specification & design & is used for different purposes. Like Slip-On Pipe Flange is used because they are made slightly larger than the outer diameter of the pipe so that tighter grip & vacuum can be maintained. Blind Pipe Flange is used to block the end of the pipe mostly used to for pressure test of pipes. Similarly, each type of pipe flanges are used according their own specifications & needs.
